Breeding is not allways full of happiness
Many people think that we, breeders just make a stud, having non problematic pregnancy, then easy delivery. Then that kittens will grow into a healthy adults and we easily find the best families and take the money and its done. Reality is different. Sometimes breeding is trully heartbreaking with lots of tears instead of smiles. In our cattery were born 3 special cats which we managed to save thanksfully to our vets. Read more bellow.

Tyčinka - paralyzed
Tyčinka was a healthy cat. When she was around 1 year old, she was with a male for a mating. Unfortunately he bited her very unlucky way to her ass and tail. Infection left her paralyzed even we tried so much to save her legs. At least we saved her life. Thats the most precious one anyway. We try to make her life full of happiness and we redone our home a bit for her smooth moving. She is pooping by herself, Im peeing her manually twice a day on a pad. Tycinka loves young Dutch gouda and ice creams.

Gamorka - epilepsy
Gamorka was completely healthy kitten until second vaccination. After that she started to have seizures. And vet checks started. Several CT scans, MRI, Brain fluids, blood checks, ultrasounds, X-Ray, many hospitalizatons over past years. And nothing found: idiopathic epilepsy. We went through hell, she went through hell. We had to neuter her of course. We couldnt stabilize her and keep it under the control. Only age helped and many changes in pills Now she has Phenaemaletten and Keppra. She takes them: 08:30,16:30,20:30,00:30. Not an easy management but finally after 1,5 years of running to vets, she stabilized and today she has maximum 1 attack in 6 months. MIRACLE as we started to be hopeless. Her treatment cost me more than 14.000 EUR. I dont regret any penny. Im just happy she is stabilized and she was fighting so much for her life.

Cumlík - hydrocefalus
Cumlik was born with a disease called hydrocephalus. I recognized it when he was 4 weeks old and just slowly started to eat. I run to our vet and he just reconfirmed me what I thought. However my vet knows me very welll, so he proposed me we can try to do a surgery - to operate a tube to his brain which will take away brain fluid an in belly it absorbs. Of course I said yes, even he told me there are not a great or long life prognosis. And of course there was a risk he will not make it, I had nothing to lose as he would die anyway. So Mvdr Alois Laznicka made another miracle and only because of him Cumlík is here living his totatlly normal life. No issues at all, growing normally, behaving like normal cat, you wouldnt recognize a thing. No treatment needed, only until he is growing, time to time we need to change the tube for a longer one. But this will dissapear too when he will stop grow. He is my hero, my inspiration, my heart. I cant even describe what he means to me.
Our dear vet, you are a hero. Only thanksfully to you, this baby is here and he got a chance to live. Im just speechless and THANK YOU
